Hot on the heels of our post on opposition to cloud computing, Microsoft’s Ballmer today talked about a soon to appear OS to help developers write apps for the web.

He calls it “Windows Cloud.” I’m sure it will have a different name, but it is definitely not connected to Windows 7 which is under development. Read more

Evil Clouds

 So I have written about the coming out of a great cloud computing suite, Zoho, and then again about GE choosing Zoho for 400,000 desktops.

I have lauded the merits of such tools being available on the Internet and for free at a basic level, and how they measure very favorably to the likes of Microsoft Office. Read more

Video Ban

Google has recently placed a ban on certain videos being uploaded to YouTube and GoogleVideo.
