That Google satellite deal is already bringing home the images. Launched on September 6, the satellite put up by GeoEye began image capture yesterday.
Since launch, the process of calibration has been going on and the first released image was taken of Kurtztown University in Pennsylvania.

Interesting that Microsoft has been bragging about worldwide sales of Vista licenses. They say over 180 million licenses have been sold in all, but seem to be especially pushing the fact that over 2 million licenses have been sold in India.

Hot on the heels of our post on opposition to cloud computing, Microsoft’s Ballmer today talked about a soon to appear OS to help developers write apps for the web.
He calls it “Windows Cloud.” I’m sure it will have a different name, but it is definitely not connected to Windows 7 which is under development.
