US Open

Well, the Grand Slam is gone but the Open has its say today. An opportunity for one of the tour workers to get his way.

Is it possible for the Mediator to best Tiger in the playoff today? Everybody has a chance. You can’t argue with the intimidation factor of ‘mano e mano’ with Rocco having won only 5 tournaments total and Tiger ever how many hundred it is.

But here’s my take. It all comes down to Holes 1 and 2. There is a net difference in the four rounds of 8 strokes in the favor of Rocco! Eight in only two holes. If he comes out and establishes a 2 stroke lead after two holes, then I believe he will win.

If he is 2 behind after two holes, Tiger will get upset with himself and start to press. Which in the Open means a lot of terrible lies in the rough and he could find himself even further behind.

All down to just the first two holes. Watch carefully….
