Free Photoshop

The class act of photo editing, Adobe Photoshop, at $500 or more, is simply out of reach of the average photo tinkerer. Admittedly, it’s price tells you it’s not an average piece of software, therefore not something well suited for the average user anyway.
Now there’s something for the folks that would at least like to do more than crop, resize, and reduce red eye. And it just happens to be from Adobe and also happens to be at the best of all prices, FREE.
Adobe has recently released its Photoshop Express application. It’s all online so no install is required. Yes, it’s a very slimmed down version of Photoshop, but it has a minimal learning curve to go along with it. Go for the regular product and you not only shell out for the software, you may find yourself doing the same for training.
While Adobe is looking to monetize Express through a premium service, it appears that Express will remain free in this form.
For the purpose of most teachers, students, and average home users posting content to the web or editing pictures for presentations, reports, etc., Express provides plenty of features in an easy-to-use package with 2GB of web storage/sharing for the resultant photos.

The link for photoshop express brought up a security risk page and advised not to open. The applications link took me to a job search site. What have I done? What have I done?
Try it again. What you saw was a ‘domain mismatch error’ on the security certificate brought about because I linked to the site without the www preceding the name. If you had hit OK, it should have worked just the same.
