Zoho - Think Free

Posted on March 5, 2008

Familiar with those names?

You really need to check them out at Zoho and ThinkFree.

These are the primary (in my opinion) competitors to Google Docs. In fact, they offer some really compelling reasons to use either one. I especially like Zoho as it offers versions of about everything you can imagine office app wise and then some - writer, sheet, show, mail, projects, notebook, wiki, planner, conferencing, database, chat, crm, business solutions, app creator –sheesh, I’m out of breath!

Both products allow good import and export of MS Office formats. They have a free level and a for-fee level as well. ThinkFree even sells a desktop version for $49.95, though it’s hard to see it making much inroad on Office since you can already get the excellent OpenOffice for free.

Check ‘em out and you’ll be amazed.
