Wikileaks Gets Reprieve
Posted on March 1, 2008
If not familiar, Wikileaks.org is a whistle blower site that was shut down by court order on Feb 14 after publishing leaked documents that indicated a leading Swiss Bank was involved in money laundering.
Well, they’re back…and without appealing to a higher court. The judge who had their domain blocked by their registrar, has reversed his own decision.
The judge said that his reversal was greatly influenced by the bad publicity his first decision had generated. So, was he right or wrong the first time? Well, one thing’s for sure - he’s wrong this time. Oh, not because he changed his first decision…only because of the why.
Yep, bad publicity will get ‘em every time…
