Green and Red

Little green men on the red planet…not so say the scientists. In a ‘revealing’ analysis of all the trudging around Mars that the rovers have done, the brainiacs have written off life on Mars ‘as we know it Jim’. Seems that ancient evidence of water they found would just be too oxidizing and salty for our kind of life.
Not to be outdone, however, said scientists are going to take a non-Jim life kind of approach. Can’t find what we want, so we’ll change the definition of life and look for life in unexpected places and forms. ‘Oh look Spock, didn’t that rock over there just move?’
Science (scio, to know) continues to amaze me. It often seems that which we do not know is unknown. Mull that, will ya’.
