Customers of RIM (Research in Motion) were aghast and taken aback on the 11th when they lost service for a few hours. The more we depend on these kinds of devices, obviously the more we miss ‘em when they don’t work. RIM is naturally catching a lot of heat for what apparently was a glitch in an upgrade that caused the problem. So let’s see…they’ve now had 3 major outages in about 3 years. And what other devices or systems have had less in that period? Not many! Thank goodness nothing ever breaks when M’soft puts out upgrades,huh?
