Here They Go Again

Wasn’t it just last May that MSFT and YHOO were looking at some sort of partnership, if not outright merger? Those talks broke off almost before they got started with analysts saying that Yahoo was worth $50Bil. What are they worth now? In the interim, GOOG has increased its hold on search plus a myriad of other areas, so the stakes might be a bit higher now for Gates and Co. to keep from losing too much ground. How’s about 36-38$ per share, maybe decreasing the cash payout a little and upping the stock part of the deal?
