Adsense Anguish

Posted on February 12, 2008

“While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers.”

Oh how sweet….I spend all this time the last couple of years ‘optimizing’ for a little monthly Adsense income and just about to get my next 100$ check and our friends at GA decide they don’t want to pay anymore to folks like me…you know, hazardous folks, risk posers…hardened criminal types that seek to abuse, misuse, and profit from the Advertisers.

Appeal you say? I have done so nicely — twice already. I don’t even rate an Autoresponder email in return.

Sure are a lot of vacant sidebars in my templates right now where the ads used to show. Guess I’ll have to find something to put there, preferably something that pays. I applied for YPN but they don’t answer either.

I had the same thing just happen to me, for no reason that I can see. My fledgling Web site just started in December of 2007, and is up to about 35,000 page views. I had earned $60, which I won’t see, and after a week and two emails there has been no response from them.

    Not happy. Looking at alternatives.

    Regards,

    Jake,

So far I’ve not found any ‘good’ alternatives.
The ones I have placed — Bidvertiser, AdBrite, and Kontera on several sites, just don’t get it.

Most are out of context or else pay very little, leaving me pretty dissatisfied.

Good luck on finding a suitable replacement.

BTW, I’m up to 4 appeals now and still no response. That’s really pretty sad. They give you an appeal form but won’t even respond to it.
